    Dedicated State-of-the-Art Processing Facility

Meticulous Colostrum Processing

APS BioGroup processes colostrum with a perfected method to preserve the efficacy and bioactivity of the colostrum.

Our state-of-the-art colostrum processing facility pasteurizes through a batch pasteurization process or a special High Temperature Short Time (HTST) pasteurizer.  Pasteurization removes potentially harmful pathogens, while immunoglobulins, peptides and other biologically important proteins retain their bioactivity.

Our colostrum is spray dried using low pressure indirect steam and carefully controlled temperatures to produce a high quality powder while protecting the colostral proteins.

In-House Proprietary Agglomeration and Instantizing Techniques

We apply both agglomeration and instantizing technologies to our colostrum powders. As a result, our colostrum powders are the most soluble and flowable available. This processing advantage enables customers to more easily use colostrum in applications such as sachets, capsules, tablets, cosmetics and drink mixes.

Thorough Quality Control Procedures

cGMP (certified Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Procedures) procedures are being followed throughout the entire colostrum production process.

APS BioGroup laboratory is registered with the United States federal government as a clinical laboratory.

Each colostrum product batch is thoroughly analyzed prior to shipment to assure its quality, efficacy and safety. Analytical chemistry, microbiological and other necessary testing is performed using AOAC or other approved testing methods. We test and certify the immunoglobulin G (IgG) content of our colostrum powders using one of five in-house High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) units.
